Who are we?
NOBLE NEST is a charitable institution for poor and needy elderly women who have no one to care for them. We accept women from various backgrounds, irrespective of caste or creed. Under the pioneer leadership of Ms. Maria Merlyn Furtado, member of a Consecrated Secular Institute of Pontifical Right, NOBLE NEST was started in her own house at Navelim, Salcette Goa in January 2021. Today, the organization has its own fully contained premises.
Vision
To provide a happy and comfortable user-friendly home to the elderly in their sunset years and enable them to live as one big family in peace, union and harmony.
Mission
To extend the love of God through our tent of conviviality and promote the quality of life of the elderly entrusted into our care by fostering a sense of belonging, respect and dignity.
Our Values
Our core values include:
- Caring for the elderly as a “sacred trust” that goes beyond the basics to include mental, emotional and spiritual sustenance.
- Making the elderly our “extended family” and treating them as one would a parent or grandparent.
